On Feb 2nd 2013, we celebrated Ava's 2nd gotcha Day in Disney World.  She was very excited to see the princess castle and eat dinner with the princesses. She loved meeting Goofy, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Mickey.  Her favorite rides were the magic Carpet ride, Dumbo the flying elephants, and the riding the horses on the Merry Go Round.   We truly had a magical time and enjoyed every minute with our little lady.

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year celebration with our family! Ava loved every minute of it! She was very excited Christmas morning to see her new doll house and her outdoor playhouse and swing set that was left by Santa over at our new house. We were also very fortunate to be able to see quite a few of our extended family members over the holidays. Ava loves playing with her cousins and getting TLC from her grandma and Aunts.

Happy Halloween!

Ava had lots of fun celebrating Halloween week!  She had a party at her school that she had lots of fun attending.  She got to see a fire truck, decorate cookies and pumpkins, dance to Halloween music, and get her face painted.  She also got to visit Ekerts Farm and ride on the swing ride, pet and feed animals, and play on a tractor.  For Halloween, was an adorable little pumpkin and loved going to the neighbors houses for trick or treating.  She is now speaking in sentences and loves to chat.  It is amazing how quickly she is growing up!

Ava's 2nd Birthday!

Happy 2nd Birthday to our baby girl!  Ava turned 2 on Sat. Sept. 8th!!  She woke up on her birthday to balloons and presents and Mom and Dad surprised her with a new jeep!  She loved it.
She had a party at the DesPeres Lodge and got to enjoy a beautiful Dora Cake and time with her family.  The kids had a great time swimming in the wave pool.  We had such a perfect day with our birthday girl! 

Summer Vacation 2012

Summer Vacation 2012!  We had a great week in St. Thomas.  Such a beautiful island!  Ava loved playing in the water and sand everyday.  She shows natural swimming abilities that are truly amazing.  Tony loves having such an adventurous companion and they spent each day playing and swimming.  Mom enjoyed some water time as well but really enjoyed watching Ava and her Dad playing and having such a great time.
We also had lots of Iguana's keeping us company.  Ava liked them from afar, but was a bit usure when they came for a close up visit.
Ava is almost 2 years old now and is very active- running, talking, dancing, singing!.  She is still a very happy girl and loves life! 

Time sure flies when you are having fun!  Ava had a great Easter Holiday and loved going on wagon rides with her cousins and finding sweet surprises in colorful eggs left by the Easter Bunny!  She even wore her bunny ears for a bit.
St. Louis has had perfect spring and early summer weather this year.  We have been spending lots of time outside.  Ava still loves water and we have a small wading pool on our deck that she spends hours playing in. 
Over Memorial Day weekend, we spent the day at the City Museum in St. Louis.  Ava loved venturing around though the caves and playing in the toddler section. She and Daddy had a great time playing in the balls and with the building blocks. 
Ava is talking quite a bit. She actually said, "I love you Momma" last week!  Needless to say, my heart melted.  She is very curious and wants to see and touch everything!  She is still enjoying her school and graduated from the infant room into the toddler room today.  She loved checking out all of the new toys in her new room, especially the animal figurines.
